Ocean State Job Lot Offers Military Discount
Operation Thank You is Ocean State Job Lot's way of showing appreciation to military personnel and their families. For a two-week period, from Sunday, October 23, 2011 to Saturday, November 5, 2011, they will be giving a 30% discount on everything in the store (except infrared heaters).
This discount is for all active duty, National Guard, Reserve and retired military, veterans, their immediate families and their dependents. A positive ID is required for the discount (see acceptable IDs here).
The procedure is simple: Shop the entire store (all locations) and stock up on food, household items, sporting goods, school supplies, garden supplies, automotive items, holiday items, toys, clothes, bedding, pet supplies, decorations, etc. (you name it, Ocean State Job Lot probably has it). Before checking out, tell the cashier that you are participating in Operation Thank You, show your ID, and the 30% will be taken off the total.
What a great way to express gratitude! By the way, even if you are not eligible for the military discount, Ocean State Job Lot is still a great place to find the best prices on a full range of products.
