I Am Recommending a Great Real Estate Attorney

I am recommending a great real estate attorney!

My closing today was the culmination of six months of constant headaches.  I won't bore you with the details, but here were the highlights:

  • Two Hubbards (my clients' and the buyers of their house)
  • Contract approval, inspection, and appraisals (on my clients' purchase)
  • Rescission of contract due to underground oil tank issues
  • Contract approval, inspection, and appraisals on another purchase
  • Removal of Hubbards
  • Appraisal issues on my clients' sale, subsequent fighting with the lender, and renegotiation of contract
  • Inspection issues on my client's purchase (no permits, electrical catastrophes, plumbing nightmares)
  • Resolution of all inspection issues, requiring extensions
  • Final walkthough issues resulting in money held in escrow

It felt like pulling teeth at every step of the way, but that's the nature of the job.  However, the one thing that saved me from one more headache was that I had recommended a stellar attorney for my clients, and it made all the difference.  What was so great?

  • He answered all my calls and emails within minutes.
  • If there was a problem that he could help with, he lent his muscle and got everything resolved quickly.
  • He kept in close contact with the other attorneys and the lender to make sure everything was good to go.
  • He always had time for my clients (his clients, too) and they felt very reassured that everyone was on their side.
  • There is never any "high and mighty" attitude!

Now you might be thinking "Isn't this what an attorney is supposed to do?"  Yes, it is, but I can't tell you how many others I have worked with who may as well have left the country because that was how much contact I didn't have with them.

Here's his information.  Please feel free to tell him that I highly recommended him (I just hope he'll always have time for me!).  By the way, he is centrally located and will cover most of the state.
