Extra Charge for Installation in Bathrooms!
This morning's newpaper had this ad for carpeting on sale. Following the two little asterisks to the fine print at the bottom of the page was the notice that there would be a slight extra charge for installation in the bathroom. Who on earth thinks this is a good idea???
PLEASE DON'T DO IT!
Just when I think that everyone has gotten the message that carpeting in the bathroom is just gross, I see carpeting in the bathroom as this picture will attest to.
Anyone who has ever cleaned a bathroom knows how gross this is. And as gross as it is to the person who cleans the bathroom, it is even more gross to a buyer! It makes them shudder and flee!
So if you are thinking of selling your home and you happen to have carpeting in the bathroom, rip it out! Put in something that can be cleaned and disinfected!
