I recently received a fund-raising request from World Wildlife Fund which said that Americans alone used fifty billion water bottles per year. For a small donation to the organization which supports many causes that will help our planet, you can receive two 16-oz. aluminum water bottles. I got mine in the mail yesterday and will highly recommend them.
Do we really need bottled water? No! The aluminum bottles keep the water colder longer, and most bottled water is only filtered tap water anyway. If you don't like the taste of your own water, buy a filter. If you must have water in the office, use a five-gallon jug with a hefty deposit on it that will ensure that it is returned and recycled.
Fifty billion a year in the U.S. alone? Just say no.
You can buy aluminum bottles anywhere, but if you want to support a great organization and get two of assorted colors (mine are blue and orange), check out World Wildlife Fund's site.
