SUMMER IS A GREAT TIME TO READ A GOOD BOOK! But if you are like many people, you may not feel as though you have time to sit down and read! What a shame!
But now, our own library, Manchester Public Library, is offering a new service that sends you a five-minute segment of a book every day of the week. By the end of the week, you will be able to tell if you really want to read the book and then can either buy it or check it out of the library.
I signed up today for four separate categories: Fiction, Non-fiction, Pre-releases, and AuthorSpeak. They also have categories for mystery, romance, children's books, teens, good news, business, and others.
To sign up for this service, visit Manchester Public Library online and click on the DEAR READER icon in the middle of the page. You don't have to enter any information but your name and email address and the categories you want to receive excerpts from.
