A Reception for New Artists will be held at the Artist's View Gallery in Madison, CT on May 16, 2010 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. On display will be prints, oil paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and other media.
Among the artists featured will be my friend and art photographer extraordinaire, Edith Carlson. Her artwork has been shown in many local galleries and has won many awards. Please check out her newest display as well as the works of the other artists.

Thanks William - I need to work on that. I posted this during the server problems and found out that it had actually posted 4 times. By the last time of trying to post, I got a little sloppy (and aggravated)!
Hi Debi - That's my friend's photo that she let me scan. She still uses film! Her work is incredible but I am still trying to talk her into some kind of online presence. I wish you could see all her work!
I love art shows and we have some good ones here in Naples. Does she by chance come to Naples during the winter? She should check out the Naples National Art Festival held in February. It's always the weekend after President's Day.
