CELEBRATING THE FOURTH OF JULY IN MANCHESTER, CT?
The annual James Dutch Fogarty Independence Day Celebration will be held on July 3, 2010 at Manchester Community College. There will be activities from 4:00 to 10:00, with the fireworks beginning at 9:30.
Free activities for children will begin at 4:00 and will include facepainting, clowns, a moon bounce, and petting zoo. Tickets may be purchased for pony rides.
Beginning at 5:00, there will be music in the Bicentennial Bandshell area, which is sure to create a festive atmosphere. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic basket; or if you prefer, food will be available for purchase, including BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc.
Admission is free. In case of rain, which doesn't look likely, the celebration will be held on Sunday, July 4th.
Happy 4th of July, Everyone!
